What order: ADHD assessment, school support, EHCP

These three pathways are often pursued in parallel, which is fine - but order matters for efficiency. School support is usually the foundation: it generates evidence the other two pathways will rely on.

An ADHD or autism assessment may then sharpen understanding, but is not always required for an EHCP. EHCP applications are about needs and provision, not labels.
